Starting from February 2026, a new electronic attendance system will be implemented for all students funded by the Estonian Unemployment Insurance Fund (Töötukassa). At MyEdu, we are preparing for this transition in advance and want to keep you informed about all the changes.
What Is the New System?
On the day of the class or the next business day, you will receive an individualized link via email to confirm your attendance.
Clicking the link will take you to a question: “Kas kinnitate andmete õigust?” (“Do you confirm the accuracy of the data?”) with two options: “Jah” and “Ei” (“Yes” and “No”). You should confirm your participation by selecting “Jah”:
Attendance is tracked in academic hours. 1 academic hour = 45 minutes. For example, a standard 3-hour class (135 minutes) will be listed as “3 tundi”.
Important Notes: Timely confirmation is your direct responsibility to Töötukassa. Please monitor your inbox carefully and remember to confirm after every class.
Attention! If you notice any inaccuracies in the data, do not reject the request or make changes yourself. Simply contact us!
Why Is This Important?
Regular attendance confirmation is mandatory for:
- Continuing your studies in the chosen program
- Securing funding from Töötukassa
- Receiving stipends (if applicable)
If you fail to confirm your attendance, Töötukassa may suspend funding, and your studies will be discontinued.
What Should You Do?
Don’t worry! Just follow our instructions carefully. We will manage your learning process and provide all necessary details for confirmation in a timely manner.
In the meantime, we recommend:
- Adding
myedu@myedu.eeto your contacts to ensure our emails don’t go to spam - Reading all notifications from the educational center attentively
