Module 1: Introduction and Everyday Communication (≈20 ac. hours)

Vocabulary: Introducing oneself and others. Family, profession, hobbies. Describing appearance and character
Grammar: Verb conjugation in present tense (Präsens) Personal and possessive pronouns. Questions with W-Fragen (Wer? Was? Wo?)
Practice: Introduction dialogues. Writing a short self-presentation letter

Module 2: City Life: Navigation and Services (≈22 ac. hours)

Vocabulary: City, buildings, transport. Shops, bank, post office. Ordering in a cafe and restaurant
Grammar: Prepositions of place (in, an, auf, bei). Demonstrative pronouns (dieser, jeder). Modal verbs können and müssen in everyday situations
Practice: Role play "In a cafe". Understanding schedules and simple announcements. Dialogue "How do I get there?"

Module 3: Health and Well-being (≈18 ac. hours)

Vocabulary: Body parts, symptoms of illness. Pharmacy, doctor's visit
Grammar: Dative case (Dativ) to describe condition (Mir ist kalt. Dem Kind tut der Kopf weh). Past tense Perfekt with verbs haben/sein to talk about ailments (Ich bin krank gewesen)
Practice: Dialogue "At the pharmacy". Composing a dialogue to book a doctor's appointment by phone

Module 4: Travel and Leisure (≈26 ac. hours)

Vocabulary: Transport, hotel booking, attractions. Hobbies, cultural events, weather
Grammar: Prepositions of time (am, um, von...bis). Past tense Perfekt to describe past events (vacation, weekend) Comparative degree of adjectives (größer, besser).
Practice: Planning a trip based on a schedule. Writing a postcard from vacation. Discussing weekend plans

Graduated from the Faculty of Germanic Studies at the University of Tartu, interned and improved her qualifications in Germany through various Goethe-Institut programs. Translator, author of numerous literary translations.

Teaches German in general education schools and to adults up to B2 level, and Estonian in general education schools and to adults up to C1 level.
